PRIVACY POLICY
Stand: 21.10.2021
Thank you for visiting our website. In the following, we would like to inform you about the handling of your data according to Art. 13 of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).
Responsible
Responsible for the data processing presented below is the body named in the imprint.
Usage data
When you visit our web pages, so-called usage data is temporarily evaluated on our web server for statistical purposes as a log in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This data record consists of
- the name and address of the requested content,
- the date and time of the request,
- the amount of data transferred,
- the access status (content transferred, content not found),
- the description of the web browser and operating system used,
- the referral link, which indicates the page from which you came to ours,
- the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established.
The aforementioned log data is only evaluated anonymously.
Storage of the IP address for security purposes
In addition, we store the full IP address transmitted by your web browser for a strictly specific purpose for a period of seven days, in the interest of being able to detect, limit and eliminate attacks on our websites. After this period, we delete or anonymize the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Data security
In order to protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organizational measures. We use an encryption procedure on our websites. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can usually recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol is closed in the status bar of your browser and the address line begins with https://.
Cookies
Our Internet pages use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the cookies in question is based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the scope of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.
We use the cookie consent technology of Borlabs Cookie to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies in your browser and to document this in accordance with data protection. The provider of this technology is Borlabs – Benjamin A. Bornschein, Georg-Wilhelm-Str. 17, 21107 Hamburg (hereinafter Borlabs).
You can change your cookie settings by clicking on the following button.
Google Analytics
We use the web analysis tool “Google Analytics” to design our websites in line with requirements. Google Analytics creates usage profiles based on pseudonyms. For this purpose, permanent cookies are stored on your terminal device and read by us. In this way, we are able to recognize returning visitors and count them as such.
Within the scope of Google Analytics, we are supported by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. (USA) as processors according to Art. 28 DSGVO. Data processing may therefore also take place outside the EU or EEA. With regard to Google LLC, no adequate level of data protection can be assumed due to processing in the USA. There is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and monitoring purposes without you being informed or having legal recourse. Please keep this in mind if you decide to give your consent to our use of Google Analytics.
Data processing is based on your consent, provided you have given your consent via our banner. The transfer to a third country takes place on the basis of Art. 49 (1) lit. a DSGVO.
You can revoke your consent at any time. To do so, please follow this link and make the appropriate settings via our banner.
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
With the GTM, website tags can be managed via an interface. The GTM itself does not trigger the setting of cookies, nor does it collect any personal data. The GTM causes other tags to be triggered, which in turn may collect personal data. The GTM does not access this data. However, there is a communication with the Google servers, so that at least your IP address is transmitted. For this reason, the GTM is only activated if you have consented to this via the cookie banner.
Google Ads and Conversion measurement:
We use the online marketing method “Google Ads” to place ads in the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results) so that they are displayed to users who are presumed to be interested in the ads. Furthermore, we measure the conversion of the ads. However, we only learn the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a so-called “conversion tracking tag”. However, we ourselves do not learn any information that can be used to identify users. Service provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The data processing is based on your consent, provided that you have given your consent via our banner. The transfer to a third country takes place on the basis of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time.
Contact form
You have the possibility to contact us via our contact form. To use our contact form, we first need the data marked as mandatory fields from you.
We use this data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO to answer your inquiry.
In addition, you can decide for yourself whether you would like to provide us with further information. This information is provided voluntarily and is not mandatory for contacting you. We process your voluntary information on the basis of your consent.
Your data will only be processed to answer your inquiry. We will delete your data if it is no longer required and there is no legal obligation to retain it.

In addition, you can revoke your consent to the processing of voluntary data at any time. To do so, please contact the e-mail address stated in the imprint.
E-Mail-Newsletter
If you register for our e-mail newsletter, we process your e-mail address and, if applicable, your name on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1. p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
If a business relationship exists with us, we may also send e-mail newsletters without your corresponding consent on the basis of Section 7 (3) UWG.
You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter at any time. In the case of newsletter dispatch on the basis of § 7 para. 3 UWG, you can object to the use at any time without incurring transmission costs other than those according to the prime rates.
In the event of revocation or objection, the data will be stored in a blacklist to prevent the sending of further newsletters.
Embedded videos
On our websites, we embed videos that are not stored on our servers. To ensure that calling up our web pages with embedded videos does not automatically lead to content from the third-party provider being reloaded, we only display locally stored preview images of the videos in a first step. This does not provide the third-party provider with any information.
Only after a click on the thumbnail, the content of the third-party provider is loaded. This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data technically required in this context. In addition, the third-party provider is then able to implement tracking technologies. We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider. By clicking on the preview image, you give us permission to reload content from the third-party provider.
The embedding is based on your consent, provided that you have given your consent by clicking on the preview image. Please note that the embedding of many videos results in your data being processed outside the EU or EEA. In some countries, there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and monitoring purposes without informing you or allowing you to seek redress. If we use providers in unsafe third countries and you consent, the transfer to an unsafe third country will be based on Art. 49 (1) lit. a DSGVO.

This provides the third-party provider with the information that you have called up our site as well as the usage data technically required in this context.

These are, for example, hosting service providers. Our service providers are strictly bound by instructions to us and are contractually obligated accordingly.
